Are holding involment Workshops for

Equality Improvements in Shropshire

Shropshire  Council,  Shropshire primary Care Trust and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service

are joining together to get your views on how to improve equality for the creation

of their Single Equality Schemes and action plans.

Please come along to one of the workshops to participate as this is your chance to get involved and make a difference to your community.  We will be discussing all of the above areas and look at things we are doing well, gaps in our services and ways we can improve.

We will be providing refreshments on the day so please come along to a workshop or just pop in any time to join in.  if possible please confirm attendance on 01743 260189.

Committee meets first Monday in the month, except Bank Holidays, 2.30pm in Whittington Senior Citizens Hall.


Simple Exercise for 1 hour for £4.00 every Thursday starting @ 11.30 until 12.30 followed by lunch at Carreg Llwyd Church, Larburnham Drive, Oswestry. Not during half term school holidays.

Good news for small pavement scooter users you can now @ the drivers discretion use a small shopper scooter on buses, as long as they fold up, heavier ones that go on the road, still cannot go on the bus.  This came into force on Arriva Buses on February 1st 2010.


Coffee Morning and Extend Exercise

Excerise is gentle not strenuous.
